Job Summary
As a Car Wash Attendant, you are an integral part of creating a positive and efficient experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles through effective car washing and detailing services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Washing:
- Perform thorough and efficient exterior washing of vehicles using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ensure that all surfaces, including windows and tires, are cleaned to a high standard.
Pre-Wash Inspection:
- Conduct pre-wash inspections to identify and note any visible damages or specific customer requests.
- Communicate with customers to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
Detailing Support:
- Assist Detailing Specialists in preparing vehicles for detailed cleaning when necessary.
- Collaborate with the detailing team to ensure a seamless workflow.
Customer Service:
- Greet customers courteously and provide information about available car wash packages and additional services.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns with a professional and helpful attitude.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean car wash equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Report any malfunctions or the need for repairs to the supervisor.
Payment Processing:
- Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide receipts and assist with any payment-related inquiries.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
- Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals according to established procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role or a customer service-oriented environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills for processing payments.
